Cloudberry
A simple, all-in-one productivity tool for patient engagement, clinic team workflows, and medical partner collaboration. Go to Cloudberry.
I led the end-to-end design process for this product, consolidating multiple tools into a single, streamlined solution. The platform reduced workflow inefficiencies by 30%, improved task completion rates by 25%, and saved each team member an average of 30 minutes daily. These improvements enabled clinic teams to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional patient care.
Main problem
Clinics typically use 6-8 systems, causing delays, inefficiency, miscommunication, and fragmented patient care.
My role
Leading product design, creating responsive web interfaces, conducting user workshops, and shaping visual design and strategy.
Research Goal
The primary pain point was clear: clinics were relying on 6-8 disconnected tools to manage tasks, patient communication, and administrative workflows. This fractured system left teams frustrated, inefficient, and prone to errors that could affect patient care.
To design an all-in-one productivity tool, we needed a deep understanding of the environment and behaviors of the users.

The Process
As senior product designer, I led research and design strategy, working closely with a junior designer and collaborating with stakeholders and engineers. We had the invaluable advantage of having practicing doctors on our team and as startup advisers. This unique composition enabled ongoing dialogue about the complexities of medical workflows, helping us identify the real challenges practitioners face.
Research insights directly influenced our design:
Centralized communication: We integrated messaging, task management, and patient records into a single system to eliminate fragmentation.
Simplified interface: The tool was designed with a “minimalist by default” philosophy, focusing on essential functionality.
Error-resilient design: Features like clear feedback, undo actions, and accessible help reduced frustration and boosted confidence.

User testing and validation
As we prototyped, we conducted three rounds of usability testing with 5-7 users from diverse clinics. These sessions validated assumptions and highlighted areas for further refinement. Key Insights:
→ Clarity vs. Simplicity: Users needed clearer task prioritization, leading to color-coded labels and a Kanban view for easier task management.
→ Friction Points: Issues with patient filtering were resolved with dynamic search, reducing task completion time by 40%.
